Eco-friendly advantages
Products presented by Greeen possess an obvious aesthetic value, but they are first products that have been chosen for their ecological qualities.
Rather than long discourses or an inventory of norms and labels, we have chosen to describe the qualities of our products through a simple diagram for every item. This will allow you to easily spot the ecological aspects of the product presented on the site
The circle represents the life cycle of the product and is composed of four steps:
1 - Manufacturing
: eco-friendly or recycled materials, minimization of energy consumption, absence of toxic materials, waste decrease, ethical commitments, handicrafting.
4 - Recycling
: recyclable materials
2 - Transportation
: packaging decrease, local materials, use of low polluting modes of transport.
3 - Use
: low energy consumption, multiple uses possible.
Together with the designers and editors, we have determined the steps that should be made evident on each product. The other steps remain undecided.
